3 yoga poses for seated twists

Its time for the Spring clean. Everyone seems to getting their homes cleaned and refreshed with new scents and wardrobes being revamped. How about the body? From time to time, our body needs a detox as well. Among all the yoga poses, you will twists  high up on the list of any detox program in Yoga.

Think of your spine going through all the different movements during the day, out of which the simple much need spinal rotation is minimal. Hence the importance to practice twists and add these to every class to enhance the disc and vertebrae of the spinal column.

Picture wringing out a wet towel to flush out old toxins from the body. Similarly when we are in a twist, the organs get compressed slowing down blood flow and when you untwist, fresh supply of oxygen surges through the organs as if given new life. Yes, i love twists and hence you can sense the passion while I write about them.
