PROGRAM CONTENT
- Introduction to Rocket Yoga: History and philosophy of Rocket Yoga, Evolution from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
- Pranayama and Breath work: Developing breath awareness and control through pranayama practices.
- Mantra: Usage and meaning of mantras used in the opening and closing chants.
- Integrating breath, bandhas and drishti into one’s practice and teaching.
- Floating and flying techniques.
- Teaching Methodology for Rocket Yoga Series 1,2 and 3.
- Finding creativity within the Rocket Sequencing.
- Learn the 3 facets of the practice (modification, classical and creative variation).
- Adjustments and Alignment: Hands-on adjustments and assists.
- Verbal cues for effective alignment.
- Common misalignments and how to address them.
- Philosophy and Ethics: Yoga philosophy and its relevance to Rocket Yoga.
- Ethical considerations for yoga teachers.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive class environment.

David Sanchez is an E-RYT500 yoga trainer specializing in Rocket Yoga. The Teacher Training is a specialized program designed to train yoga teachers in the Rocket Yoga system, which was created by Larry Schultz. Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and playful style of yoga that draws inspiration from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It is known for its creative sequencing, inversions, and arm balances, making it an exciting and challenging practice.
